I found another interesting review of A Wish After Midnight–but in a roundabout sort of way. Shadra kept telling me to sign up for Google Alerts, and I finally did this week; then yesterday I got a bizarre alert for a blog about historical fiction in Quebec…it must have been translated poorly, b/c the sentences hardly made sense. Finally I realized that the original review was posted at Charlotte’s Library. I’m interested in this reviewer’s “wish” for a reading group with which to discuss my novel…what a great idea! I wonder how I could pull that off…I’ve seen some IM live chats, but folks seem to get cut off a lot. Conference call? Skype? It would be great to finish Judah’s Tale and assemble some fans of the first novel to get their impressions. Folks seem really ticked off at Judah! I think he does redeem himself in the sequel, but I can’t say for sure whether he and Genna will wind up together in the end…
I saw a detached bird’s wing in the rose garden today, which I took as a sign since I’m currently reading Touching Snow and this is the image on the cover. Will report on that by tomorrow probably. It’s a curious kind of book…
Judah is who he is.
I’d love to participate in a discussion. Readgrlz used a free chat room platform. Look into that or you could use a discussion forum. I’d happily open up Color Online’s discussion forum to host it. Let me know.
Looking forward to the sequel.
ooooh…thanks for the tips, Susan!
